Hi, I’m Kurtis
I’m a wedding videographer based in Yorkshire.
I consider myself incredibly fortunate to do something I genuinely love. Capturing weddings and telling meaningful stories is a real privilege, and something I don’t take for granted. My goal is simple, to create a wedding film that truly reflects who you are and what your day felt like.
Drawing on my background as a musician, I feel I bring a unique approach to creating your wedding film. Music has shaped the way I think about pacing, rhythm and emotion, and that naturally carries through into my films. I edit with an ear as much as an eye, ensuring everything flows in a way that feels natural and emotionally true to the day. Combined with a strong attention to detail, this results in films that not only look beautiful, but bring you straight back to how it all felt.
My approach when it comes to capturing your wedding day is to seamlessly blend in and document the moments as they naturally unfold. I keep things relaxed and unobtrusive, using minimal equipment so you and your guests can enjoy the day and be yourselves without feeling like you’re constantly being filmed. No one wants a camera in their face all day!
This approach produces the most authentic and memorable films, ones that transport you back to your special day every time you watch them. For me, your wedding film isn’t just about how it looked, it’s about how it felt. The people, the atmosphere, and all the little in-between moments you might not even notice at the time.
I often think about how much I would have loved to go beyond the photos and watch a wedding film of my grandparents. To hear their voices, see how they moved, and experience those moments as they really were. That’s what makes this so meaningful to me — creating something that can be treasured not just now, but for generations to come.
A bit more about me…
When I’m not filming weddings, you’ll usually find me behind a drum kit, out on a snowboard, or walking my cockapoo, Alan.
I’m a big believer in enjoying the simple things, good music, being outdoors, and spending time with the people you care about. It’s probably why I’m drawn to weddings in the first place, they’re one of the rare moments where all of that comes together.
Kurtis is everything you would expect from a professional, he’s communicative, punctual, knowledgeable but really, he brings so much more than that. Kurt brought a kind and calming energy to the day, he had the ability to have a laugh with us and make us feel like we weren’t even in front of a camera! He worked so flawlessly with our photographer, he even brought along prosecco for a spray shot and a smoke flare (in the colour that matched our theme!) as an unexpected extra, we had so much fun with it! We could go on & on but we are just so grateful we found him to shoot our day. Thank you Kurt!
